Bite Investment’s ‘Wealth Universe’ platform will aim to provide greater access to alternative funds for family offices, IFAs and sophisticated investors.
Bite Investments has launched a cloud-based digital hub to open up access to alternative and private markets funds.
Bite Wealth Universe will enable investment and scrutiny of direct and co-investment strategies in private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, venture capital, hedge funds and cryptocurrency.
Family offices, independent financial advisers and sophisticated investors can now register on the hub.
The hub is built on the fintech firm’s ‘Bite Stream’ platform, which is a software-as-a-service (accessible using the cloud) technology. It is also ‘white label’, meaning it is customisable by clients.
The funds will be provided by Bite Stream clients and Bite Group’s own regulated investment manager.
Investors will be able to filter funds by strategy, style, liquidity, target return and geography. The hub is also due to feature fund overviews and multimedia content to enable comparisons.
Once a fund is chosen, investors will be directed to a manager of their choosing.
